If you’re an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in testing and automation, this is your opportunity to make a real impact! What You’ll Do
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for backend and middleware systems in our banking applications.
• Conduct manual and automated testing, focusing on functionality, performance, and security of critical banking services.
• Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing practices and tools.
What We’re Looking For
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, OR significant practical experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Proven experience with test automation tools (e.g., Postman, Cucumber, JUnit) and programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Strong understanding of API testing, service-oriented architecture, and middleware systems (e.g., message brokers, ESBs).
• Hands-on experience using SQL for data validation, and familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile, cross-functional team.
*Experience in the banking or financial services sector is highly regarded but not essential.
