Business Analyst – Strategy Workshop & Insights Support

• Full time, 6-month contract
• Preferably based in Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Armidale or Dubbo but other locations within our regional network will be considered
• Total Rem Package $97,000 - $115,000 (includes super + leave loading) commensurate with experience

Regional Australia Bank is looking for Business Analyst to support an important transformation project of uplifting the maturity, quality, and governance of our enterprise data. Working closely with the Head of Data Management, this position drives the successful development of the bank’s Data Strategy through:

• Planning, coordinating and co-facilitating collaborative workshops,
• Analysing outputs from workshops to identify key themes, insights, risks, and areas for further exploration,
• Translating insights into practical, actionable outputs and delivery plan,
• Preparing reports and documenting project progress,
• Liaising with stakeholders to clarify expectations and validate outputs and working with business clients to explore solution options.

We’re Looking For

• Someone with relevant qualification or experience in business analysis, data management / governance, agile style of working, and project coordination.
• Someone familiar with process modelling, gap analysis, data mapping, impact assessment, and other concepts and tools relevant to data analysis, management and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to capture and synthesise discussion points, prepare reports and presentations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Someone comfortable operating in ambiguity and proactively driving clarity and outcomes.
