About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Head of Business Banking is a key senior leader responsible for the Commercial and Agribusiness portfolios and for leading a team of Senior Business Development Managers and Lending Support professionals.
Building on a strong foundation, this role focuses on expanding our reach, growing market share, and developing team capability, while ensuring excellence in financial performance, customer outcomes, and portfolio quality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for Business Banking across Commercial and Agribusiness lending.
Drive sustainable portfolio growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Build and strengthen team capability, foster engagement, coaching, and professional development.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through data analysis and market insights.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and partners to position Regional Australia Bank as a trusted financial partner.
Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to align business banking with broader customer strategies and service models.
Maintain robust governance, credit quality, and compliance with all regulatory and risk management standards.
